The General Terms and Conditions of Sale detailed below only govern the contractual relationship between the company 4MURS SA, with a capital of €1,570,500 and whose head office is located at 74 rue Costes et Bellonte, 57155 Marly (France) and customers who wish to place an order on www.4murs.co.uk. These Terms and Conditions determine the sales conditions between www.4murs.co.uk and the customer, from the moment the order is placed and paid for until the goods have been delivered.

1. Prices of products sold online

The prices of products displayed are given in sterling pounds, including all taxes and excluding delivery charges. In the case of products presented on the website but not sold online, prices are indicative.

2. Wallcovering and paint samples

Customers can order samples of wallpapers, friezes, and borders as well as paint samples (a paint sample is a print of the colour shade of a paint on a sheet of card stock). The size of a wallpaper sample is the following: 21.0 x 29.7 cm (A4 size). The length of a frieze or border sample is 29.7 cm. The width varies depending on the height of the frieze or border. The size of a paint colour sample is the following: 5.94 x 21.0 cm. Wallcovering samples and paint samples are shipped by ordinary post. Processing fees for their preparation are charged at 80p (£0.80) per wallcovering/paint sample. Wallcovering/paint samples cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

3. Availability

Customers are informed of product availability in the product description found on each product page.

4. Payment and transaction security

Payments for orders are made online. The following payment options are allowed:

  • Debit / Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Bancontact)
  • PayPal
  • 4MURS e-Gift card

The customer's account will be debited once the order has been dispatched. Online payments are secured by SSL protocol. The encryption ensures that banking data remain confidential. As such, they cannot be read when they are entered and in the event of transfers made online. For all transactions, customers are connected to the server of the payment processing centre, for which the bank Banque CIC is responsible. Bank data is not transferred by 4MURS and is not saved on 4MURS servers. For this reason, customers must enter this information each time they place an order. The data is encrypted. To fight against fraud, in some cases 4MURS may ask customers to provide proof of identity and the bank card used for payment. The documents provided are used only to process orders and are destroyed as soon as they have been checked. Orders are processed after the documents have been received. If customers do not wish to share these documents or if the documents received do not conform to the requirements, the order will be cancelled. A 4MURS e-Gift card can be used to pay for purchases on www.4murs.co.uk, combined with a different accepted payment method if necessary. Only one e-Gift card can be used per order.
